This is an active, smaller-bodied Tang that fits perfectly into mid-sized systems. It brings a unique color profile to the tank, transitioning into deep, rich tones as it matures. While it is generally peaceful toward most tank mates, it may defend its grazing territory against other Bristletooth species.

Husbandry Notes The Blue Eye Tang requires an established aquarium with plenty of live rock to support its natural grazing habits. While it is excellent at keeping rockwork clean, you should supplement its diet with high-quality spirulina-based pellets, flakes, and dried seaweed (Nori). They appreciate high water turnover and well-oxygenated environments. Like all Tangs, they are susceptible to skin parasites if stressed, so maintaining stable water parameters and providing a stress-free environment with plenty of hiding spots is key.
