SME Overview The Passer Angelfish, also known as the King Angelfish, is one of the hardiest and most dominant angels you can put in a tank. This fish doesn't take guff from anyone and needs to be housed with equally aggressive tank mates like triggers or large tangs. It features a striking blue body with a vertical white bar behind the pectoral fin and vibrant orange on the dorsal and caudal fins. Because they are so territorial, you want to make sure they have plenty of rockwork to claim as their own, but they also need massive amounts of open swimming space. They are grazers by nature, so a diet heavy in spirulina and sponge-based angel formula is a must to keep them healthy and vibrant.
